The 2022 Mustang Week is a bittersweet occasion, but thanks to Steeda and others, it went out with a bang!

Announced back in the spring of this year, Steeda and Edelbrock Performance teamed up to giveaway an Edelbrock Supercharger. This is the same supercharger Steeda is using to make 1000rwhp on the Silver Bullet Mustang.

The winner was chosen at random from the thousands of people who entered. After several raffle giveaways, it was time for the big prize. When it was all said and done, Daphne, Alabama, resident Ben Marx was declared the lucky winner of the Steeda Edelbrock Performance Supercharger Giveaway.

This is the second consecutive year that Steeda has hosted an event during Mustang Week. The week-long event gives people a chance to show their cars and participate in a number of activities including the Steeda dyno challenge. Steeda raffled off thousands of dollars worth of products during the show.

The supercharger giveaway created quite a stir over the last few months. That’s largely due to the relationship Steeda has created with Edelbrock. It introduced the use of the Edelbrock E-Force Stage 2 Supercharger Kit for 2018-2021 Mustang GT models, which it uses on its R&D Silver Bullet Mustang.

Serving as the host of the Steeda raffle is the famous Mustang Week, which faces a larger amount of uncertainty after 2022. After the 21-year ride, the event in Myrtle Beach comes to an end after the city denied the renewal of a five-year contract with the Myrtle Beach Convention Center.

During the week, a record was set for the most Mustangs in a parade in the United States. The event organizers sought to beat the world record set in Mexico in 2017. However, they came up shy of the 960 Mustang record, with 660 Mustangs. Still impressive and still record-setting.

Currently, there are no announced plans to move forward with a 2023 event. If this does end up being the last year for Mustang Week, it went out big and will live on in the memories of the fans of the Ford Mustang.
